Is this your biggest challenge right now?

Hey Reader!

How's your Sunday going?

I'll let you in on a secret: Homeschool and Humor is going to have an exclusive membership! One that gives you UNLIMITED ACCESS to resources, mom courses, summits, lesson plans, unit studies, and more! 🙌🏻

But I want to make sure you have exactly what you need. Do you have a minute? If so, I’d love to hear more about things you’re struggling with these days.

The more I know about where you’re at right now in your homeschooling journey, the more I can help. Even your motherhood journey.

So whether you’re struggling with finding the right curriculum or juggling homeschooling with household chores, I'm all ears.

Go ahead, hit reply and tell me all about it. I promise to respond within the next couple of days. And yes, it's really me on the other side of this screen!

If you want to give me more detail and tell me what your ideal mom membership would be, or what you would really want more than anything, at the heart of it, in order to help you get/do/overcome/encourage that thing you really want more, you can fill out this quick feedback form. Otherwise, a quick reply would be just as great!

However, to say thank you for your time, when you fill out that form, you'll get a free, exclusive weekly plan/unit study planner, never before released. (It's pretty, too!) They have a few different variations (I think maybe 4 or 5 different versions?) as well as color and black/white versions for each variation. No one has ever received these – you'll be the first!

I've been watching Demon Slayer and one part I love from it is this:

We're humans, after all. And there are things that are outside of our control.
Whether I'm happy or not is up to me, even if it feels like the world is against me. What's most important is that we keep moving forward together and fight if we must.

I love that. In fact, any movie, book, or TV show that encapsulates unity and fighting the good fight always grips me. And Demon Slayer is SO good! (You can catch it on Netflix right now!)

In fact, I want my future husband to be half Tanjiro from Demon Slayer and half Jack Pearson from This Is Us. 😏

We aren't experts at everything. It's okay to inquire for knowledge – isn't that the very thing you're teaching your kids by homeschooling them?

You and I may be fighting the good fight, doing the best we can, even on the days we're racked with mom guilt or down from being down-on-our-luck. But we ARE fighting this good fight...together. And that makes all the difference in the world, I believe.

I want to spend all my time with other moms who know what I'm going through, who feel what I feel, who can offer encouragement, tips, and support in the areas I need it in, and who are open to receiving the same. That's why I'm making this mom membership, and that's why I want your input about it. I want it to be your virtual home.

Hit reply and tell me what would make you excited to join a membership and what you’d want inside—just for you. Whether it’s homeschooling mama support through resources, lesson plans, and workshops, virtual meetups (or once-a-year retreats), topical self-paced courses, private podcasts, or if you’d love home management tools, faith-based inspiration, or something else entirely – I want to know what would make this membership truly valuable for you. Your feedback matters!

And if you fill out the form, you get the exclusive weekly plan/unit study planner instantly once you submit the survey!

Not only that, but you will also get a special discount for the membership! (Just make sure you include your name in the survey form and don't leave it anonymous.)

Your input is truly appreciated, Reader!

xo,
Richie

Hi, I’m Richie – homeschool single mama of 3! Yes, I homeschool… on purpose. I blog, I bribe my kids with snacks, and I’m a proud member of the “coffee first, questions later” club, powered by sarcasm and Jesus. If homeschooling feels a little wild, you’re in the right place. I serve up no-fluff tips, real-life resources, and the occasional eye roll at unrealistic Pinterest expectations. If you’ve ever lesson-planned at midnight with goldfish crumbs in your bed, you’re in good company. It’s my hope that you find delight in my words, treasures within my posts, and camaraderie in #momlife. Hey Reader! It's been unbearably how lately. We’re somewhere between homeschool, summer survival mode, and “should I just burn it all down and start a homesteading YouTube channel?” The 7-year-old who maintains that pants are optional but narration is not, so I now live with a full-time background commentator who insists on providing a play-by-play of his Minecraft world while I try to edit summit content. Or Roblox. He'll talk to me the whole time he's playing while I'm sitting next to him,...

Hey Reader! This morning, I just wanted toast. That’s it. Just… toast. I wasn’t aiming high. I wasn’t dreaming big. Not artisan. No avocado. Not hand-baked by woodland elves. I just wanted a slice of bread, slightly crispy, with butter that melts like it knows it’s the main character. But no. First, I couldn’t find the bread. Because someone (not naming names but he’s 14 and acting like he's prepping for hibernation) polished off the loaf sometime between second dinner and midnight snack. And...

Hey Reader! So, you might still be thinking about how to actually make homeschool work for your real life after seeing the announcement yesterday that the Homeschool Mom Summer Summit: YouTube Edition is officially open... (If you missed the details or the early registration bonus, you can check it all out [RIGHT HERE] — but don’t wait long because those special bonuses won’t be around forever!) And today, I wanted to share something with you that the homeschool moms who have already grabbed...
