Hey Reader! This new year is kicking my butt a little. There feels like a lot of pressure to be “off to the races.” Especially with homeschooling lurking back into life this month. My sister keeps asking me what my New Year’s resolution is, and honestly, if one more person asks, mine is going to be "committing a victimless crime." Meanwhile, Facebook is acting like a toxic life coach, serving me sunset photos with quotes like “The only limit is your soul.” Which is news to me because I’m pretty sure the limit is my patience and the fact that it’s 4:00 PM and I’m still in pajama pants. In fact, it's making me feel a little bad about myself. The "New Year, New Me" industrial complex wants you to believe that homeschooling success is birthed from a fresh planner and a sudden, magical love of sourdough. Queue melodramatic sigh… Come on now…let the starter mold and move on. 2024 called and it wants its high-maintenance fermented hobbies back. We’ve been sold this lie that homeschooling has to look like a 19th-century farmstead or a high-tech laboratory, when really, it usually looks like cold coffee and a mild identity crisis. (Or is that just me?) Let's move forward in anything we do together though. It’s time to stop white-knuckling our way through the curriculum. You don’t need a resolution. You don't need to learn how to make sourdough just so you can feel like you're "winning" at some imaginary competition against a girl on Instagram who definitely has a secret nanny. You need a riot. Or, at the very least, a group of women who will tell you to buy the store-bought loaf and focus on your own damn peace of mind. Momentum is found when you stop trying to perform motherhood and start actually living it. And momentum is a HUGE chunk of January….getting into the post-holiday reset. This month's Homeschool MOMentum Club theme is all about just that: Post-Holiday Reset & Goals – Getting Back into the Swing of Things. And this month's content pack from the MOMentum Club will be dropping in just a couple daays – so jumping in now will catch it right on time for you and your kids as you… what what? Get back into the swing of things. There's a few LIVE workshops that happen every month inside the Homeschool MOMentum Club (but they happen weekly in the Scripture Club). And this month's Momentum Moms LIVE workshop is happening today! The holiday decorations are down, but the "holiday fog" remains. If your homeschool currently feels like a cycle of irregular sleep, lost momentum, and constant power struggles over starting school work, this workshop is your manual for a calm January-into-homeschooling-again transition. We are moving away from the "all-or-nothing" mentality of New Year’s resolutions. Instead, we are implementing a gentle ramp-up designed to rebuild predictable rhythms, restore academic confidence, and clear the mental and physical clutter that derails your day. Join us @ 4pm ET / 3pm CT / 2pm MT / 1pm PT to watch live and ask any questions. Replay will be uploaded to the Library's exclusive "Homeschool MOMentum Club" folder. When you join the LIVE workshop, you'll receive a very special surprise bonus! Simply join the club and you'll get access not just to that workshop but all the content packs and resources. Yup!There are five other clubs with monthly resource packs already dropped or will be dropping shortly –– all of it included inside the Homeschool MOMentum Club. Pretty cool, right?
I love this month's Scripture Club pack and theme. It's perfect for the new year! It's called Boldly Believing Bigger. It's a 21-day devotion and it's already dropped. You can get that and several others instantly when you sign up for the Homeschool MOMentum Club today at the founder's low price! (But it will be finally disappearing soon.) And don't get me started on this month's Nature Study Club's theme: Binoculars & Birds. So cute! The Audio Club had some exciting things happening inside it this month too! Here's what dropped already so far: We also dropped a few more audiobooks! I can keep going with all the awesome happenings dropping left and right for just this month alone for all six clubs, but I think you get the idea. Signing up to any of the clubs (or accessing all of them with the Homeschool MOMentum Club) turns into a no brainer. But the 40% discounted price for each club won't be here for much longer. It's currently priced at the Founder's Price. Not saying that as some kind of creepy sales tactic. 🙄 (I think you know by now I'm unapologetic authentic (a literal compliment (I think)) from one of our members!). It's just what's happening soon and I wouldn't want you to miss out on anything of value or that will undoubtedly help your homeschool in any of those 6 areas. Your New Year Reset & Head StartYou can start the new year with momentum, friends, direction, and warm coffee. Well, don't hold me to the warm coffee part. But the others are true! We still have that new car smell inside the club but we've been getting more and more friends in every week. The most important part is that (1) you'll be growing with us from the beginning (hence, the founder's price), and (2) there are tons and tons and tons of resources already created and uploaded just waiting for you – monthly content packs, audiolibrary, audio books, high school support, high school bookshelf, a homeschool bookshelf, and more! You won't find anything like this anywhere else in the homeschool space. What you get: Included are LIVE workshops, monthly challenges, and brand new resources uploaded WEEKLY, often multiple times throughout the week. Plus you get unlimited downloads and access to all the library resources + products + courses + past & future summits + everything. All the clubs. Everything. Again, no brainer. See, the Homeschool MOMentum Club is where we drop the performative hobbies and get back to the actual life you’re trying to build. And, sister, I would be honored to cheer you on as you gleefully fail at being a Pinterest-perfect martyr so you can actually enjoy your life. And enjoy your new online spot – because you just found your brand new home…the one where you walk in and give that soul-deep sigh that says, “Oh, thank god. I’m home.” Where you realize there actually is a place for you in this homeschooling world.
Oh, and one more thing…👀 Because I love surprises (and I know you do too), there’s something exciting coming your way soon. Freebies, tips, and maybe even a giveaway or two… who knows? 🎁 Thanks for hanging out with me, Reader. You’re the best, and I’m so excited for the year ahead for you! Great things are happening, Reader. Great things. 💛 xo, Richie |
Hi, I’m Richie – homeschool single mama of 3! Yes, I homeschool… on purpose. I blog, I bribe my kids with snacks, and I’m a proud member of the “coffee first, questions later” club, powered by sarcasm and Jesus. If homeschooling feels a little wild, you’re in the right place. I serve up no-fluff tips, real-life resources, and the occasional eye roll at unrealistic Pinterest expectations. Hey Reader! Just checking in — mostly to remind you that if today’s homeschool felt like a cross between a Pinterest fail and a slow-motion circus, you’re still doing just fine. Really. If your child completed three math problems and then dramatically collapsed because “division is emotional,” welcome to the club. We’ve all got jackets. They’re coffee-stained, but they’re jackets nonetheless. In fact, mine's sort of a ratty pink throw half-cardigan-half-jacket thing that I got 3x bigger with...
